[Forum] Do I Simply Have a Slow Metabolism?

Hey y'all,

I'm a 23 year old someone who has ever struggled with weight, whether it was losing or modify maintaining. I'm going to a coefficient loss edifice local to me, and they did a embody composition and told me what percentage of my embody is "fat," and what is coefficient from my bones, hair, skin, etc.

The abstract is, they are saying for my coefficient and height and all of the above, I should be comsuming 1,800 calories to reassert my weight, and to lose coefficient I should be at the small intense 1,300 calories.

I hit been doing this coefficient loss information for a couple months now, and I am blithely down 25lbs. But, the only way I am losing coefficient (usually 2lbs a week) is if I take between 800-1,000 calories. I undergo it doesn't sound same a lot, and I read everyplace that the small should be 1,200 calories for a woman.

I am intake throughout the day, and I also am not opinion famished or weak, tired, etc. Those weeks when I did take a lowercase more each period I would not see some coefficient loss that week.

Another abstract I'm considering is the fact that my mother went from existence nearly 300lbs to 130lbs, and she has been maintaining this coefficient for years. I undergo normally she eats around 600 calories per day.

Is there something criminal with us?? Do we meet hit andante metabolisms or something? I'm so confused...
